You might want to change the mode of transport for all legs of a trip, or just for a particular leg of your trip.

Change all transport legs

Click on your story type drop down, then select your new mode of transport from the drop down selection.

Change individual legs

To change only individual legs, click on the pencil icon next to that route in the right-hand column. Select the mode of transport from the drop down menu.
